Returns & Refunds Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
At project-zero, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be confident when purchasing from us.
This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made through the Project-Zero website and is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a remedy where a product:
-
Is not of acceptable quality
-
Is faulty or defective
-
Is not fit for a purpose that we have represented it to be suitable for
-
Does not match its description, specifications or advertised representation
-
Does not meet any additional promises or warranties made by project-zero
Depending on the circumstances and whether the problem is considered a major or minor failure, your remedy may include a refund, replacement or repair.
Project-Zero reserves the right to inspect or assess a product before determining the appropriate remedy, where permitted under Australian Consumer Law.
2. Change of Mind Returns
project-zero is happy to offer returns for eligible change-of-mind purchases, provided the following conditions are met.
Change-of-mind returns must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order.
The product must:
-
Be unused and uninstalled
-
Be in its original condition
-
Not have been modified, altered, anodised, polished or otherwise customised
-
Not show signs of installation, tightening, tool marks, scratching or damage
-
Be returned with its original packaging where reasonably possible
-
Include all components supplied with the original purchase
Change-of-mind returns are subject to approval by Project-Zero.
The original shipping cost is generally non-refundable for change-of-mind returns, and the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product to project-zero.
Once the returned product has been received and inspected, an approved refund will be issued to the original payment method.
3. Incorrect Product or Incorrect Order
If we have sent you an incorrect product, size, quantity or colour compared with your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where the error is attributable to project-zero, we will work with you to arrange a suitable remedy, which may include a replacement or refund.
Please provide your order number and photographs of the products received so that we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
4. Faulty or Defective Products
If you believe your product has a manufacturing fault or defect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We may request:
-
Your order number or proof of purchase
-
Photographs or videos of the issue
-
A description of the problem
-
Information about how the product was used or installed
We may require the product to be returned for inspection.
If the product is found to have a fault covered by the Australian Consumer Law, project-zero will provide the remedy required by law.
Depending on the nature and severity of the failure, this may include a repair, replacement or refund.
5. Installation, Modification and Damage
project-zero products are precision automotive components and should be installed using appropriate tools, procedures and torque specifications.
A return or refund may not be available where the issue has resulted from:
-
Incorrect installation
-
Incorrect torque or installation procedure
-
Cross-threading
-
Over-tightening
-
Use of inappropriate tools
-
Impact or physical damage
-
Modification or alteration of the product
-
Improper use
-
Use outside the product’s intended purpose
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Damage caused after delivery that is not attributable to project-zero
This does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Anodised Titanium Products
Anodised titanium products may exhibit variations in colour, shade, tone or finish due to the nature of the anodising process.
Colour variation between individual titanium components, batches, photographs and displays can occur and is not necessarily considered a product defect.
Where the product is otherwise compliant with its description and specifications, colour variation alone may not qualify for a change-of-mind return.
However, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.
7. Sale, Clearance and Promotional Items
Sale, discounted and promotional products remain covered by the Australian Consumer Law.
A discounted or sale product may be returned where it has a fault or does not meet the consumer guarantees that apply to the purchase.
Change-of-mind returns for sale or promotional products may be subject to the conditions outlined in Section 2.
8. How to Request a Return
To request a return, please contact Project-Zero through our website contact form or customer service email.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, defective, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise requires a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, project-zero will arrange the appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights.
10. Refunds
Once an approved return has been received and assessed, refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
Where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law, project-zero will provide the applicable refund in accordance with the law.
11. Exchanges
Where appropriate, project-zero may offer an exchange for an alternative product, size, colour or specification.
An exchange is not intended to replace any refund, replacement or other remedy that you may be entitled to under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Proof of Purchase
We may require reasonable proof of purchase, such as:
-
